I was recently in the shop and we were laughing because he could remember me as a child. My family moved into the neighborhood 58 years ago my cousins and I were allowed to go to the shoe shop to take our parents and ours shoes fixed. He could fix anything. I had a pair of sandals that I loved he had me bring those sandals to him every September he would put new soles and heel lifts on them and those sandals lasted me over 10 years.
I know he will be missed by his family but he will also be missed by the people in the neighborhood.

Vinnie always greeted me with a warm hello
and a smile when I saw him at the Elks. He was one of the nicest most down to earth people I have ever met. You will be missed.
