Maria F. Furtado (nee Tavares) 62 of Haledon on Thursday, November 3, 2016. She was born in San Miguel, Portugal and came to the United States in 1973 and settled in Fort River, MA and lived in Totten, MA and Wayne, NJ before moving to Haledon in 1989. She was the owner of the Dunkin Donuts on Route 20 in Paterson, NJ for 30 years. Beloved wife of Joseph Furtado. Devoted mother of Brian and Jennifer Furtado. Loving grandmother of Justin and Mason Furtado and Crystal and Jalen Soto. Dear sister of Elena, Lucy, Sarah, Fatima, Carlos, Dave and Jose Tavares. Funeral from DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ on Wednesday at 11 AM. Funeral Liturgy at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ at 11:30 AM.
