Obituary of Barbara Shirak

Barbara Shirak (nee Damato) age 86, of Lincoln Park died Friday, July 22, 2016 at Lincoln Park Renaissance Rehab & Nursing Center of Lincoln Park, NJ. Barbara was born May 21, 1930 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Mary (Vigorito) Damato. She was a bartender at Paul's Bar and Bowling in Paterson for many years until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Brendan's R.C. Church in Clifton. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and even a more wonderful grandmother. Beloved wife of the late John Shirak, Jr. Devoted mother of Robert Shirak and his wife Robin, Barbara Anne Santana and her husband Monte and John Shirak and his wife Sandra. Loving grandmother of Samuel and Robert and the late Ronnie Shirak, Monte and Vincent Santana and John, Jr. and Sonja Shirak. Dear sister of Loretta Carbonelli and her late husband Michael, Rose Cerimido and her late husband Charles, Louise Venezia and her husband Frank, Maryanne DiPietro and her husband Anthony, Larry and Samuel Damato and the late Phil and John Damato. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 11 AM at St. Brendan's R.C. Church, Clifton, NJ at 11 AM. .
