Obituary of Leo P. Blanchfield

Leo P. Blanchfield, Sr., age 99, of North Haledon died Friday, July 15, 2016 at Care One in Wayne, NJ Mr. Blanchfield Sr. was born December 23, 1916 in Paterson, NJ. He is the son of the late Thomas and the late Alice (Cauwels) Blanchfield. He moved to North Haledon in 1957 He served i the Navy during World War II. He was a printer and was employed at Como Printing and Textiles in Paterson and retired in 1981. He was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church in Prospect Park, NJ . He is survived by his son Leo P. Blanchfield, Jr . and his grandchildren Nicole Miranda and Kyle Blanchfield . He was predeceased by his wife Margaret Alice Blanchfield (nee Mohr) in 1998. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, July 18 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Sunday, July 17 from 4-8pm.
