Obituary of Maria J. DiTaranto

Maria J. DiTaranto, age 85, of Wayne died Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center of Paterson, NJ. Maria was born January 14, 1930 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Daniel and the late Elizabeth (Batelli) DiTaranto. She lived in Paterson, NJ, Towaco, NJ, Waldwick, NJ and North Haledon, NJ before moving to Wayne. She was a graduate of Fordham University, Bronx, NY where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She worked as a Medical Technician for Honeywell - Allied Signal in Teterboro, NJ from 1954-1989. She then worked at Valley National Bank in Pompton Lakes as a customer service representative until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth of ungary R.C. Church in Wyckoff, NJ, a member of the American Society of Medical Technologist and the NJ Federation of Woman's Clubs. She is survived by her brother: Daniel DiTaranto of Pompton Plains, NJ and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, January 18 at St. Elizabeth Of Hungary R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ. . .
