Obituary of Maximo Huerta
Please share a memory of Maximo to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Maximo was a man who followed three main philosophies to life- work hard, family comes first, and never set limits on success. Although he took pride in the bridges and buildings he helped construct as a master builder in Peru, he took most pride in building a life for his family in the United States. With his beloved "Queta" by his side, he was able to give his family what they needed to succeed. His personal success was measured through the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his kindness, story telling, contagious laugh, and most of all, his love.
Maximo Huerta, age 83, Haledon died Monday, November 9, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. Maximo was born December 27, 1931 in Lima, Peru . He is the son of the late Hilario and the late Sabina (Gomez) Huerta.
He is survived by his wife: Maria (Rosado) Huerta , two daughters: Sonia Aljallad of Haledon, NJ, Jane Alponte of Haledon, NJ and one son: Carlos Huerta of Lima. He is also survived by his brothers: Alfonso Huerta, Blas Huerta and Alberto Huerta and his four grandchildren; Carena Aljallad, Celia Huerta, Kathrena Aljallad, Yousef Aljallad.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:00 am on Saturday, November 14 at St. Michael's R.C. Church, 70 Cianci Street, Paterson, NJ. Burial will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ..
