Obituary of Anna Janitz

Anna Janitz, age 100, of Haledon died Sunday, December 7, 2014 at home in Haledon. Anna was born July 29, 1914 in Fenyofo, Hungary . She is the daughter of the late Mathias and the late Rosalia (Scheck) Hungler. She came to the United States in 1939 and settled in Paterson, NJ and moved to Haledon in 1994. She was a Seamstress. She also was an avid gardener. She was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJ and a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. . She is survived by one daughter: Marianna Menyhart of Haledon, NJ; her grandchildren; Frank Michael Menyhart and Kathleen Ann Menyhart , her brother: Antal Hungler of Haledon, NJ and many nieces and nephews. The family would also like to thank her caregiver, Minnie Diaz. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Janitz The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 10 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ .Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting will be Tuesday, December 9 from 4-7 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
