It's very strange how things happen. The day Lois passed, I was wondering how Lois and Jim were doing. I have so many memories of Lois but the one that is coming to mind now was of me sitting in my windowsill on a summer evening, Dana sitting in her windowsill and the two of us yelling over the driveway that separated our houses in Haledon. The conversation was electric- "I'm eating pudding!" "Wait! I'll go get some, too!""Now we're both eating pudding!" This would go on until Dana vanished in an instant, replaced by the voice of Lois-"Time to close your window, Laur. Good night." I'd slam down the window so hard! I've known Lois and Jim (thank you for taking me in the moving truck to see Dana on the day you moved to North Haledon- I love you forever for that, Jim) for as long as I've known my own family. It's been a long time since I've seen them, but I have not and will not ever forget them. Wish I could be there for you Dan, Lin and families. Hugs from Utah.
