Obituary of Mary Meidl

Mary Meidl, age 91, of Paterson died Monday, March 17, 2014 at home in Paterson. Mary was born October 1, 1922 in Bakoniyako, Hungary and came to the United States in 1957 and settled in Paterson. She is the daughter of the late Josef and the late Juliana (Fodi) Kosman. She was a Homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church in Prospect Park, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband Eduard Meidl. She is survived by her daughter: Gisela Wetzel of Paterson, NJ and her sons: Edward R. Meidl of Paterson, NJ and Andrew F. Meidl of East Rutherford, NJ, her grandchildren; Denise Wetzel, Andre' Wetzel and his wife Sylvia, Patricia Meidl and Jennifer Meidl. She is also survived by her brother; Josef Kosman and his wife Helga of Tampa, FL and her sister Katie Schagh. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, March 22 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Friday, March 21 from 4-8pm.
