Obituary of Emma Dokum

Emma Dokum, age 62, of West Milford died Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Hospice Of New Jersey in Wayne, NJ. Emma was born June 7, 1951 in Shafter, TX. She is the daughter of the late Jose and the late Adela (Fuentes) Cortez.
She was a Medical Billing Clerk at Wayne Surgical Center and retired in 2008.
She is survived by her husband: Kirk Dokum, her daughter: Evette Reyes and her son Patrick Mendes. She is also survived by her sisters:Stella Rede, Irene Suarez and Delma Cortez and her brother: Danny Cortez and her four grandchildren,Patrick, Vivian, Emma and Maury.
She was predeceased by her daughter Michele.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ on Monday at 10 AM.
Visiting hours will be Saturday, February 15 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Cremation will be private.
