Q: How did you meet Leon?
A: I met Leon while we both worked with model trains at Highway Hobby House in Ramsey, NJ, more than 50 years ago. My late wife Joyce and I became good friends of the Mondellis. My favorite memory is of a vacation we shared at Steamtown in Bellows Falls, VT (before that RR museum was moved to PA). He and I climbed Mt. Ascutney with our wives on our backs. It was great fun. Time, health and distance separated us in later years but I miss him still. God bless he and Gloria. May he Rest in Peace.
