Obituary of James P. DeMarco

James P. DeMarco, age 84, of North Haledon died Monday, September 5, 2016 at Preakness Healthcare Center of Wayne, NJ. James was born November 3, 1931 in Paterson, NJ. He is the son of the late Anthony and the late Mae (Cobell) DeMarco. He served in The United States Navy during the Korean War where he met the love of his life and his wife of 61 years, Norma. He was employed by Montclair Radiology as a Radiology Technician for 35 years and retired in 1994. He was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes, NJ. He was a an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the sport of horse racing. He is survived by his wife: Norma (Hink) DeMarco , his three daughters: LuAnn Grau and her husband James of Butler, NJ, Patricia Lozito and her husband Joseph of North Haledon, NJ, JoAnn Ligato and her husband Pasquale of Lincroft, NJ and his son: James DeMarco and his wife Lisa of Hardyston, NJ. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Nicholas Grau and his wife Jianna, Danielle Grau, Joseph A. Lozito, IV, Natalie Lozito, Jake Lozito, Lucas Ligato and Douglas DeMarco. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, September 8 at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 787 Frankli Lake Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ with Rev. Michael Donovan officiating. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, September 7 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Memorial gifts to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis TN 39101 or the Alzheimer's Association, 3 Eaves Drive, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053 would be appreciated.
